Bio
Jim worked as a senior partner in the Energy & Materials practice at CMEA Capital, where he collaborated with entrepreneurs from such firms as A123Systems (AONE), Danotek, Solyndra, Foro Energy, and a number of university spinouts. Jim first recognized the value of partnering with great visionaries in the third grade while building a snow fort in his parents' front yard in Fishkill, New York. That theme has persisted throughout his career and led to his working with some extraordinary entrepreneurs in the energy sector. Jim received his undergraduate degrees in computer science and electrical engineering and political science from MIT. He received his MBA and a master's in quantitative methods from Columbia University.
