Bio
Has been active in general management, consultancy and venture capital investing for 19 years. Joined ACT Venture Capital in 1996 and became Managing Director in 2009. His investment focus is on semiconductors, communications and software businesses. Currently serves on the boards of Corvil, Eblana Photonics, e-Net, PrismTech, and Lime Microsystems. Previously director of Massana (acquired by Agere), Straatum (acquired by Lam Research) Cape Clear Software (acquired by Workday) & Allfinanz (acquired by Munich Re). Graduated from University College Dublin (UCD) in 1990 with a degree in Physics and Mathematics. In 1996, received his MBA from Trinity College Dublin (TCD).
