Bio

Mr Begg joined HarbourVest Partrners LLC in 1993. Previously, he spent seven years within the Advent International Network structuring and managing private equity investments in Europe and the US. He joined Robert Bosch GmbH in Germany, where he spent several years in manufacturing engineering, quality assurance, and technology transfer. He later worked in industrial marketing for the aerospace division of Raychem Corporation in California before receiving his MBA from Harvard Business School. Mr Begg currently serves on the advisory boards of several international private equity partnerships, including Alpha Private Equity Funds (France/Germany), Galiléo Ventures Funds (France), CICLAD Funds (France), and The Japan Venture Fund III. Mr Begg attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
