Joined Warburg Pincus in 1998 and focuses on the firm’s European technology, media and communications investments, as well as its investment activities in emerging Europe. Member of Warburg Pincus' Executive Management Group, which coordinates the firm's investment activities on a worldwide basis. Previously deputy director for Russia and Eastern Europe at The Ford Foundation. Director of Mach and Ziggo. BA and MA in politics, philosophy and economics from McGill University. DPhil from Oxford University, where he was University Lecturer in Soviet and East European Studies from 1990 to 1991.
