Bio

Keith Williams brings 18 years of leadership and management expertise to Iceberg Ventures. Keith has held management positions at General Electric, Colgate Palmolive, Child Craft, and SerVend International. Keith was COO during SerVend's 1998 Malcolm Baldrige qualifying site visit, and was General Manager in 1999 when SerVend won the prestigious USA Today Quality Cup for Business Excellence. SerVend also was honored for top nationally benchmarked results in customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and financial results. SerVend is the world's leading supplier of ice and beverage systems. Keith's in-depth operational experience with new economy businesses provides emerging companies with a unique perspective of the pathway to success. Keith has led Internet companies through strategic planning, execution, and fundraising phases. After SerVend, Keith served as president and COO of StreetFusion, a San Francisco based Internet company that is focused on the financial industry. Keith holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and holds two U.S. patents. He has published several articles on organizational design, leadership, and best practices. Keith is the 1997 winner of the Center for Quality of Management and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Teaching Fellow award. The award is given for leadership and training of CEO's and their direct reports in the areas of leadership and organizational excellence. In February 2000, Keith was named as the CEO of bCatalyst, a new economy business accelerator, an Iceberg Ventures portfolio company.
