L Robert Libutti

Bio

After working in industry as an electrical engineer and as an officer in the US Army, Dr. Libutti began a 32-year career with the IBM Corporation. He held various IBM Group Director level executive marketing and executive product development positions in the US, Europe and Japan. He was responsible for IBM’s software strategy, new business and market development in Europe and establishing a new development facility in Japan. He led the team that developed the IBM Personal Computer for the Asian marketplace. Mr. Libutti was previously a director of Sapiens International (SPNS), a $65M publicly traded Israeli software company. He also served as co-CEO and Chairman of Sapiens. Mr. Libutti has a BS in Engineering Physics from Lehigh University, an MBA and PhD in Business Administration, and is a graduate of IBM's Systems Research Institute.
