Marc Rappoport

Bio

Marc Rappoport, Chief Financial Officer and Partner, joined New Venture Partners in 2008. He currently provides the firm with overall financial and operational management, manages investor relations, supports financial and operational due diligence and assists in establishing the operating and financial infrastructure and employee benefit plans for new ventures launched. Previously, Marc was the Chief Financial Officer and General Partner for Lucent Venture Partners, a position he held for close to nine years. He was one of the founding members of Lucent Venture Partners, a venture capital partnership funded by Lucent Technologies which invested in early stage technology companies. Marc established the financial and operational infrastructure for LVP and served as a director and observer on numerous portfolio companies in the U.S., Canada and Israel. Prior to joining Lucent Venture Partners in 1998, Marc worked in various capacities at Fortune 500 companies and his experience included Strategy, M&A, Controllerships, Operations and Government Affairs. He also led the start-up of manufacturing facilities and international subsidiaries. Marc holds a BS degree in Economics from New York University, where he graduated cum laude and an MBA degree from Columbia Business School.
