Bio
Matthew S. Ottesen is responsible for the underwriting and due diligence of equity and debt investment opportunities. Prior to joining Buchanan, Mr. Ottesen was an Asset Manager with Excel Trust and a Financial Analyst with Federal Realty Investment Trust. He is a member of ULI and NAIOP and remains active in UCI’s Center for Real Estate. Mr. Ottesen holds an MBA from the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California Irvine, where he received the NAIOP SoCal Fellowship award, and he received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Biology and Latin American Studies.
