Matthew R Kahn

Bio

Mr Kahn has been Managing Director of GB Merchant Partners and its predecessors since 1997. He has been involved in numerous debt and equity transactions. Prior to joining Gordon Brothers Group, Mr Kahn was Chief Financial Officer of Jos A. Bank Clothiers, Inc. At Jos A Bank, he was involved in the turnaround of the company by eliminating the women’s business and replacing it with men’s business casual. Prior to that, he was the senior financial officer of Nature Food Centres, Inc and he also worked on a number of leveraged buyouts at a private investment firm specializing in investments in retail companies. Mr Kahn currently serves on the Board of Directors of Ashley Stewart, Deb Shops and Como Fred David. Mr Khan has a BA from Georgetown University, where he graduated magna cum laude, and an MBA from University of Virginia. He is also a CPA.
