Michael Barzyk

Bio

Mr Barzyk is a Senior Associate at The Pritzker Group. Prior to joining The Pritzker Group in 2006, Mr Barzyk was an Associate and Senior Associate with CIVC Partners, a private equity firm that focuses on middle-market growth equity investments and leveraged buyouts. While at CIVC, Mr Barzyk closed several transactions in the manufacturing, financial services, and media and telecommunications industries. In addition, he worked closely with portfolio company management teams to develop and execute their business strategies. Before joining CIVC, Mr Barzyk was an investment banking analyst for Salomon Smith Barney (now Citigroup), where he completed several M&A, high yield, and investment grade fixed income transactions. Mr Barzyk received a MBA with honors from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a BS in Finance with high honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Mr Barzyk is also a Certified Public Accountant.
