Michael M O'Shaughnessy

Bio

Michael M. O'Shaughnessy has overall responsibility for asset management of all investments and works closely with the asset management subsidiaries. Prior to joining Northwood Investors, Mr. O'Shaughnessy was an Executive Director at UBS AG, a global investment and wealth management bank. During his time at UBS, Mr. O'Shaughnessy was the head of North American real estate investments for Global Wealth Management and portfolio manager for the UBS Global Wealth Management – North American Property Fund, a $6.0 billion multi-asset class direct property fund. The fund invested in over 125 office, retail, industrial, multi-family, and senior housing properties across the United States. Previously, Mr. O'Shaughnessy held senior asset management roles at Investcorp International in New York and Transwestern Investment Company in Chicago. He started his career at LaSalle Partners in Chicago in 1994. Mr. O'Shaughnessy received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University and his M.B.A. with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
