Bio

Parker B. Hayden is a Vice President focused on U.S. buyout investment opportunities in the consumer, retail and education industries. Mr. Hayden is based in New York. Since joining Carlyle in 2003, Mr. Hayden has been actively involved in the firm’s investments in CVC Brasil, Oriental Trading Company, CPU Technology, Firth Rixson (and its acquisition of Schlosser Forge Company), Jazz Semiconductor, and SS&C Technologies. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Hayden spent three years at Morgan Stanley, where he focused on transactions in the technology sector. Mr. Hayden’s prior work experience also includes serving as a Summer Analyst during business school with SAC Capital Management. Mr. Hayden is a member of the Board of Directors of CVC Brasil and formerly held a board position at Jazz Semiconductor. Mr. Hayden received his M.B.A., with honors, from The Wharton School where he was a Palmer Scholar. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.S. in business administration.
