Patrick J Haiz

Bio

Prior to joining ClearLight Partners, Mr Haiz was a Principal at Gryphon Investors Inc, a middle-market private equity fund based in San Francisco, which he co-founded in 1995. His responsibilities included sourcing, evaluating, structuring, monitoring and exiting portfolio companies. While at Gryphon, Mr Haiz successfully led several leveraged buyouts of middle-market companies. Prior to co-founding Gryphon, Mr Haiz worked as a Vice President in Citicorp's merchant banking operations in Milan, Italy where he completed several large international leveraged buyouts. Prior to Citicorp, Mr Haiz spent three years at Salomon Brothers' Corporate Finance department in New York where he specialized in private placement financings. Mr Haiz earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia and holds an MBA from Stanford University. Mr Haiz is fluent in both Italian and Spanish.
