Paul Cornell

Bio

Paul is the Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Quintana, where he is responsible for the accounting and financial oversight of Quintana and its portfolio companies. Mr. Cornell previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of Quintana Shipping Ltd. from October 2010 to September 2017, and served as its Principal Accounting Officer. Mr. Cornell served as the Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer at Quintana Capital Group, L.P. from April 2008 to October 2010. Mr. Cornell served as the Chief Financial Officer of Quintana Energy Partners. He served as the Chief Financial Officer, Principal Accounting Officer and Treasurer at Bird Acquisition Corp. (QMAR) from January 2005 to April 2008. Mr. Cornell served as a Vice President of Finance at Quintana Minerals Corporation from 1993 to 2005, and has been employed with Quintana Minerals Corporation since 1988. He served as a Director of Quintana Shipping Ltd. He has served on boards of Talens Marine & Fuels, AmerCable Holdings, Quality Magnetite, LLC and Quintana Minerals Canada. He served as a Non-Executive Director of Excel Maritime Carriers, Ltd. Mr. Cornell received a B.B.A. in Accounting from Niagara University in 1981.
