Paul J Finnegan

Bio

Prior to co-founding Madison Dearborn Partners, Mr. Finnegan was with First Chicago Venture Capital for ten years. Previously, he held a variety of marketing positions in the publishing industry, both in the United States and in Southeast Asia. Mr. Finnegan has more than 27 years of experience in private equity investing with a particular focus on investments in the communications industry. Mr. Finnegan is a member of the Board of Overseers of Harvard College and Past President of the Harvard Alumni Association. He is also a member of the Board of Dean's Advisors at the Harvard Business School and of the Leadership Council of the Harvard School of Public Health. Mr. Finnegan is a member of the Board of Directors of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs. He is the Chairman of Teach For America in Chicago, a member of Teach For America's National Board, and the Chairman of the Community Works Advisory Committee of the Evanston Community Foundation.
