Bio

First commercial role was Finance Manager of Millets Leisure, part of the Sears plc retail group, gaining experience in multi-site finance systems with high volumes of transactions. Then moved on to a world class engineering and manufacturing environment and was Finance Director of a division in the Cosworth Engineering group, part of Vickers plc. When Cosworth was sold moved into a technology startup and spent six years as Operations Director of software provider, Speech Machines, which was initially VC funded, but subsequently acquired by MedQuist Inc, part of the Philips group. Has experience in managing North American, European, and Indian subsidiaries, and provides hands on financial support to companies in the Anglos Scientific portfolio. This varies from supervision of the book keeping for small companies, through to Finance Director depending on the circumstances of each company. Economics graduate and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
