Philip Ruppel

Bio

Philip is an Associate for Navigation Capital Partners. Philip evaluates prospective investment opportunities and monitors the firm's portfolio of more than 20 operating companies. He previously worked as an investment banking analyst in the Financial Institutions Group at Bear, Stearns & Co. (Bear Stearns) in New York, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and capital raises for numerous specialty finance, insurance and depository institutions. Philip also held a summer analyst position in Bear Stearns' Financial Analytics and Structured Transaction (F.A.S.T.) group, focusing on bank holding company trust preferred issuances and investment portfolio strategies. He also completed an internship in Morgan Keegan & Co.'s equity research department, focusing on the transaction processing and retail/special situations sectors. Philip earned his Bachelor of Arts in economics and business administration from Rhodes College. A native of New Orleans, Philip resides in Atlanta.
