Philip Yates

Bio

Philip is responsible for originating and executing investment opportunities in the software, technology-enabled business services, and insurance sectors.Prior to joining Great Hill Partners, Philip was an Associate at Carousel Capital, a middle market LBO firm headquartered in Charlotte, NC. At Carousel, Philip executed transactions in the business and consumer services, healthcare, manufacturing and communications arenas. His responsibilities included sourcing and reviewing potential investments, executing transactions and working with existing Carousel portfolio companies. Philip also worked as an Analyst with Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown in the Consumer and Business Services investment banking group, where he was involved in several equity offerings, debt placements and advisory assignments. He currently is a director of SterilMed, Inc., PAI Group, Inc., and Prommis Solutions, Inc. Philip holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
