Philo Tran

Bio

Mr Tran has considerable experience leading and executing sell-side, buy-side and private placement transactions and has raised over $1 billion of capital in various forms of equity and debt financings. Prior to joining GEF’s United States Growth team in 2007. Previously, he held investment banking positions with Wachovia Securities and JPMorgan Chase. Mr Tran served as a Vice President of Updata Advisors, a leading middle-market investment bank focusing on the information technology sector. Mr Tran graduated with a BBA in Accounting from the College of William and Mary and holds an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
