Bio

Has experience in private equity and venture capital investing in addition to creating, growing and running successful manufacturing businesses. He was an investment manager with Indus Venture Management Pvt. Ltd. (“Indus”), a USD 50 million venture capital fund. At Indus, he was responsible for fund investments and managed a diverse business portfolio through board positions in investee companies in the healthcare, engineering, auto components, IT and electronics sectors. During his years at Tyco Electronics, he was actively involved in acquisition and post acquisition activities of the company. He was instrumental in setting up TEI Technologies in 2000, which he headed as the CEO until February 2008. He has developed suppliers for Maruti Suzuki Limited, the market leader for passenger cars in India and has worked in process design with Engineers India. Prashant graduated as a Chemical Engineer from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani and PGDM from the IIM, Bangalore.
