Priya Rajan

Bio

Priya is an Advisor to Xfund. She joined Silicon Valley Bank in 2007 and is currently Director of the Early Stage Practice, exclusively focused on the innovation sector where she engages with founders as they start their journeys to build a company. Silicon Valley Bank works with more than 50 percent of the venture capital-backed companies in the U.S. and has a global focus (with offices in the U.K., China, Israel, and Ireland; as well as partnerships in Australia, Turkey, Latin America and Western Europe). Priya also leads SVB’s programs targeting top tier universities, including the Bank’s four-day Trek, in which participants dive headlong into Silicon Valley in an immersive learning experience featuring salon-style events, interviews with industry luminaries, and hands-on workshops. Priya played lead operational roles for over 8 years in establishing a global footprint for SVB (China, Israel, UK, Beijing, and Hong Kong.). Prior to joining Silicon Valley Bank, she held financial management roles at Charles Schwab and Enterprise Rent-A-Car. She has an M.B.A. from Cornell University and a California CPA. She also serves on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters.
