Bio

Mr. Maybaum joined Littlejohn as a Partner in 2005. Prior to joining Littlejohn, Mr. Maybaum was a portfolio manager at Ramius Capital Group LLC where he was responsible for identifying, analyzing, managing and trading distressed securities and capital structure arbitrage investments. Previously he was a managing director at Talek Investments where he was a co-manager of the distressed securities portfolio and also served as a managing director at Alpine Associates investing in distressed securities. Earlier in his career, Mr. Maybaum worked in the high yield / distressed loan trading group at Chase Securities, the Corporate Restructuring groups of Bank of New York and the Sanwa Bank Ltd. Mr. Maybaum began his career as a corporate attorney. Mr. Maybaum received an MBA from Columbia University in 1992, a JD from American University in 1988 and a BA in Philosophy and Political Science from the University of Rochester in 1985.
