Richard Spencer

Bio

Richard is the president of R.P. Spencer, Co., a private equity investment company focused on start-up and early stage, service oriented businesses in Georgia. Richard is also the managing member of Wildwood Capital Management, LLC, General Partner for a limited partnership investing across all asset classes, both public and private. Prior to these positions, Richard was Chief Operating Officer of an Atlanta-based multi-family office and an insurance defense litigator. He graduated with honors from Princeton University and with honors from the University of Georgia School of Law. Richard serves on the Board of Directors of the Carl E. Sanders Family YMCA at Buckhead and the Board of Trustees of Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC, where he is a member of the Executive Committee. Richard also serves on the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Technology Angels, where he chairs the seed company screening committee. Richard’s interests outside the office include his family, his church, Peachtree Presbyterian, and running - he recently completed his third marathon.
