Bio

Prior to joining AFM, spent 18 years with the NatWest Bank and worked in both personal and corporate banking with responsibility for sanctioning loans and gained an in depth knowledge of SMEs and the issues they face. Joined AFM in 2003 as a Portfolio Manager, which involves looking after Small Firms Fund clients. Spends much of his time out on the road visiting investee businesses giving them the opportunity to discuss any issues they may have and providing support where necessary. Also responsible for monitoring their progress and ensuring that they are aware of what paperwork they need to submit to claim back their interest rebate, for example.
