Ron is a partner at Turnstone Capital and focuses on uncovering emerging technologies that impact large global markets. In this effort, Ron has been critical to the firm's pioneering work in the clean tech sector having uncovered ClimateWell AB and Morgan Solar, Turnstone's anchor investments in this sector. Ron has broad executive and entrepreneurial experience, including 6 years as Chief Information Officer and eBusiness Operations Leader for one of GE's largest components, Commercial Equipment Financing, a global diversified financial services business with over $60 billion in assets. At GE, Ron initiated significant investments in new ventures and strategic partnerships and deployed global enterprise systems supporting GE's largest sales force. Prior to joining GE, Ron was an entrepreneur in a series of startup companies in the publishing, tradeshow and software industries. His early career includes 8 years as a Chief Information Officer in the engineering and construction industries, 6 years as an executive in the state governments of Georgia and New York and 2 years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in India. Ron holds a Master's degree in Statistics from Georgia State University.
