Ross Barrett

Bio

Mr. Barrett is the managing General Partner of BVM Capital, which is the management company for venture funds: Louisiana Ventures, LP and Themelios Ventures, LP. He is a Co-founder of VC Experts, Inc. and is active in the strategic direction of the company. Previously, he worked on Capitol Hill as a legislative aide to senior U.S. Senator, J. Bennett Johnston, where he specialized in risk assessment and regulatory reform. He has been an adviser to or investor in over twenty early-stage privately held companies. He served as an appointed Commissioner of the statewide Louisiana Airport Authority from 2005-2008. In 2007, he was named to Governor Jindal's Small Business and Entrepreneurship transition team. Mr. Barrett currently is a member of state Committee of 100. J.D., Louisiana State University School of Law, LLM., Taxation, New York University School of Law, B.A., Political Science, Southern Methodist University.
