Joined Barclays Ventures in 2007, having spent 18 years in the private equity industry in Aberdeen, Birmingham and Hamburg with 3i plc and the Midlands with both Baring English Growth Fund and Catapult Venture Managers. During this time, has invested in and sold a significant number of businesses across a wide range of sectors. His deals include the MBO's of Maygay, Phipps Faire, Stone Computers, BSK Aluminium and Jennings Homes and Development Capital investments in Oxford Genome Sciences and Magix.
