Samuel M Mencoff

Bio

Prior to co-founding MDP, Mr. Mencoff was with First Chicago Venture Capital for 11 years. Mr. Mencoff has more than 28 years of experience in private equity investing with a particular focus on investments in the basic industries sector. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Boise Cascade Corporation, Packaging Corporation of America, and Smurfit Kappa Group Limited. Mr. Mencoff is a Trustee Emeritus and a member of the Board of Fellows of Brown University, a Trustee of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Director of NorthShore University HealthSystem, where he serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee.
