Scott F Strasser

Bio

Mr Strasser is a member of GB Merchant Partners, Gordon Brothers Group's principal investment arm, where he focuses on private equity investments in middle market retail and consumer products companies. Previously, Mr Strasser was an Associate at the Cypress Group, a leveraged buyout firm with over $3.5 billion of capital under management. While at Cypress, Mr Strasser focused on transactions in the healthcare, financial services and business services sectors. From 1997 to 1999 he was a financial analyst in the Investment Banking division of Bear Stearns where he concentrated on healthcare mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and corporate finance transactions. Mr Strasser currently serves on the Board of Directors of Ashley Stewart, Things Remembered and Grafton-Fraser. Mr Strasser has a BA from Washington University in St Louis and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
