Sebastien Burdel

Bio

Sebastien is an Investment Principal responsible for origination and execution in the US market. Since joining Coller Capital in 2003, Sebastien has worked on all aspects of the secondary transaction process and has completed numerous direct and LP transactions. Sebastien has been part of the team responsible for investing Coller International Partners IV and V. Sebastien started off in Coller Capital's London office where he worked until early 2006, at which point he moved to New York where he has since contributed towards the firm's growing presence in the US market. Before joining Coller Capital, Sebastien worked for General Electric as an Associate in the Corporate M&A group, and prior to that for GE Equity, General Electric's direct private equity group, where he focused on mid-market buyouts and co-investments. Sebastien holds a BA (Hons) in Finance from Audencia - École Superieure de Commerce de Nantes in France and is completing his MBA at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
