Steven Le Poole

Bio

Mr Le Poole joined Egeria in December 2004 as an investment director. Prior to joining Egeria, Mr Le Poole worked as a director at Potosi, an independent private equity consultancy focusing on turnaround and restructuring investments from 2002. From 2000, he was a partner in the € 200 million software and communications fund managed by Gilde Investment Management. Between 1999-2000, Mr Le Poole was the business development director at @Home Europe, where, apart from finalising six media deals, he led the negotiations with a major Belgian cable company. He began his professional career in 1993 as a consultant at Booz Allen & Hamilton where he worked in the Netherlands, the UK, France and Germany. Mr Le Poole holds a MBA from Harvard Business School where he received the Dean’s Award. In addition to his MBA, Mr Le Poole holds a Masters of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands. He speaks English, Dutch, French and German.
