Susan Simko

Bio

Susan Simko serves as PrairieGold’s Chief Financial Officer managing all aspects of the firm’s finance and administrative functions. She also lends her business planning and financial modeling expertise to portfolio companies on an as-needed basis. Susan has eighteen years experience in financial planning and analysis roles, most recently serving as the Director of Planning for Verio, Inc., a leading Internet services provider owned by NTT Communications. Prior to Verio, Susan was Manager of Planning & Analysis for a venture-backed web-conferencing company located in Denver. Susan began her career at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), spending six years in its Minneapolis office as Finance Manager for an internal portfolio of start-up ventures. Susan earned her B.B.A. in finance from the University of Iowa, and her M.B.A. through the University of South Dakota’s cohort program.
