Bio

Thaddeus A. Paul is a Principal with U.S. Real Estate, focusing primarily on sourcing apartment investments in Florida and Atlanta, and hotel and senior housing investments nationwide. Mr. Paul is based in Washington, D.C. Since joining Carlyle in 2000, Mr. Paul has been involved in over 40 acquisitions with the all-in capitalization of the projects exceeding $2 billion and the asset management of Carlyle’s portfolio of senior housing and hotel assets. Mr. Paul recently sourced the acquisitions of apartment complexes in Tampa, Orlando, and Atlanta, two hotels in the South Beach sub-market of Miami, and an independent living property in Fort Worth. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Paul was with LaSalle Hotel Properties (NYSE: LHO) in Bethesda. Mr. Paul has a B.S. from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.
