W Dexter Paine

Bio

Mr. Paine is a founding Partner of Paine & Partners. In 1987, Mr. Paine joined Robertson Stephens & Company to establish a leveraged buyout group for the firm. In 1994, Mr. Paine joined Kohlberg & Company to establish and head the firm's West Coast office. In 1997, he co-founded the predecessor firm, Fox Paine & Company, where he served as president from its inception until 2008. Mr. Paine serves as a member of the Boards of Directors of WireCo World Group and Cevian Capital and as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association. Mr. Paine is a former member of the International Board of Directors of Right to Play and past Chairman of the Board and Emeritus Trustee of Holderness School and the Nueva School. Mr. Paine is a graduate of Williams College (B.A., Economics). He began his professional career at Bankers Trust Company in Los Angeles.
