Bio

Since joining CEA in June 2000, Mr. Glasman has been focusing on the origination and execution of mergers and acquisitions, private placements of debt and equity, and advisory assignments for Latin American companies and investors. Mr. Glasman has participated in a wide range of transactions in the movie exhibition, gaming, outdoor advertising, radio, subscription and free-to-air TV, technology, and telecom sectors. Prior to CEA, Mr. Glasman was an associate in Societe Generale’s New York-based Latin America Group, focusing on the execution of mergers and acquisitions, bonds, and syndicated loans. At Societe Generale, among other transactions, Mr. Glasman participated in the $1.1 billion bridge financing and high-yield bond for Cablevision (a leading Argentine cable TV operator), which was the largest non-recourse financing of an Argentine company as of that date. Mr. Glasman also performed advisory work for broadcasters, construction companies, insurance companies, and utilities. Prior to Societe Generale, Mr. Glasman worked for Inversora Urbana (an Argentine real estate investment company) and Arthur Andersen in Buenos Aires. Mr. Glasman holds an MBA from UC Berkeley and a BA in Accounting from Universidad de Belgrano (Argentina). Mr. Glasman, an Argentine national, spent a significant part of his childhood in Brazil. Mr. Glasman is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
