William G Butterly III

Bio

William G. Butterly, III, has responsibility for all non-investment activities of the firm and is liaison with the parent company in Rotterdam. He joined the company as General Counsel in 2005, overseeing all legal and compliance matters. Prior to joining Robeco, he served as Chief Compliance Officer at General Motors Asset Management. Mr. Butterly previously held positions at Shearman & Sterling, Lazard Asset Management and Deutsche Asset Management. Mr. Butterly holds a B.A. degree from Connecticut College and a J.D. from Columbia Law School.
