Dr. William L. Haeberle is a retired Professor Emeritus of Management and Senior Fellow at The Johnson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, where he joined the faculty in 1946. A venture capitalist and an entrepreneur many times over, he has been an owner/operator in a wide range of business ventures, including: sales (cars, trucks, farm machinery, and aircraft); leasing (commercial jet aircraft, industrial machinery, and cable television equipment); oil and gas (drilling, exploration, and production); and livestock. Bill currently serves as a director for a variety of companies in the following industries; manufacturer and distributor of floral supplies, franchisor of nature stores, global manufacturing of aluminum die castings, sales and installation of educational technology equipment, quarrying and milling of limestone, engineering outsourcing services, tent manufacturer and farm machinery manufacturer. He was formerly a director of companies whose businesses were in foundry, greeting cards, restaurants, convenience stores, global manufacturing of industrial coatings and paints, hot and cold forgings and direct marketing of restaurant supplies. Additionally he served two National Association of Securities Dealers member firms as a Registered Principal and was a licensed securities broker in several states. He actively researches in the areas of Turnaround Management, High Performing Organizations, and Management of Organizations to Increase the enjoyment of owner managers. Bachelor of Science degree in Business, a Masters in Business Administration and Doctorate of Business Administration all from the Kelley School and Indiana University.
