Bio
Bruce Crocker is a Venture Partner at Pitango. Previously, Bruce co-founded Eucalyptus Ventures in 1997, and since that time has served as Managing Director of the fund. Prior to founding Eucalyptus, he served as a managing director in technology investment banking at Hambrecht & Quist. Bruce previously served as President and CEO of Exploration Systems, a start-up application software company targeting the oil and gas exploration markets, and of EG&G Geometrics, a manufacturer of geophysical instruments and a supplier of airborne geophysical survey services. Bruce served on the Board of Directors of BioControl and VisionCare Ophthalmic Technologies among others, and represented Pitango’s interest in Cadent. He holds a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from MIT, and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
