Edward Sippel

Bio

Mr Sippel opened the Hong Kong office for Quadrangle in 2008. Prior to that, Mr Sippel was based in Quadrangle’s New York headquarters and was an active member of the US investment team. Mr Sippel has lived and worked in Asia since 1997. Prior to joining Quadrangle, Mr Sippel was a Managing Director and Partner at TVG Capital Partners (TVG), a private equity firm based in Hong Kong focused exclusively on investments in the telecom, media and technology sectors throughout Asia. In this capacity, Mr Sippel led deal teams for private equity investments across Asia and served on the Boards of Directors of several Asian companies. Prior to TVG, Mr Sippel was with The Asian Infrastructure Fund (AIF), a private equity firm based in Hong Kong, where he assisted in managing the telecommunications portfolio. Prior to AIF, Mr Sippel worked in Morgan Stanley’s Global Communications Group in New York. Mr Sippel currently serves on the Board of Directors of Protection One. Mr Sippel received a BA from Georgetown University.
