Bio
John is a proven leader in consumer technology and digital media with a career focused on building, scaling and running high-growth companies of all sizes, from initial seed through to late-stage operation. He possesses a deep understanding of creating innovative experiences, building brands and leveraging new and emerging platforms, and is an active investor, advisor and board member to many early-stage private companies. Prior to JAZZ, John held senior operating roles in a wide array of technology companies in both consumer and enterprise. Most recently he was the general manager of Disney Interactive, mobile and social games division, launching many chart-topping titles while overseeing operations for this high-growth business. Over the course of his career, John has built and launched several technology platforms including OnLive, the first cloud-based streaming games and media company, which was acquired by Sony. And earlier in his career, he founded and ran Bitmo, a cloud-based platform for mobile messaging and application development, which he sold in 2002. Additionally, John has been involved in several restructurings and turnarounds, including a key role in the re-launching of Activision, which went public in 1995 (ATVI), as well as the turnaround and sale of the leading European game publisher, Eidos in 2005 (now part of Square Enix).Education
