Ken Ebbitt

Bio

Ken joined ATV's technology practice in 2007 where he focuses on investments in the software and internet services markets in the firm's Palo Alto, CA office. He is actively involved with Host Analytics. Ken brings over 10 years of operational and investment experience to ATV. Prior to joining ATV, Ken was a Senior Product Marketing Manager at PayPal where he managed global checkout solutions for PayPal on eBay. Prior to PayPal/eBay, Ken co-founded a student loan consolidated business which to date has assisted over 65,000 students and originated over $3.3B in loans. Previously Ken spent time as part of Yahoo!’s Media Data Services group where he evaluated user value across the Yahoo! network and worked with product teams to help drive users towards higher revenue generating categories. Previously he worked as an Investment Analyst at Menlo Ventures where he evaluated early stage deals in software, communications and internet infrastructure companies. He started his career at Hambrecht & Quist LLC/Chase H&Q as a Financial Analyst with the eBusiness Software Group where he developed valuation analyses, performed due diligence, prepared offering memoranda, and analyzed strategic issues for companies in the internet software industry. Ken is also the co-founder and CEO of the Foundation for Giving HOPE, a non-profit dedicated to serving the needs of children with chronic and life threatening illnesses. Ken holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Middlebury College.
