Bio

Oscar oversees partnerships, new venture formation, tax structuring, securities laws, and financial management for Distributed Global. Before joining the team, Oscar was CFO & GC of Rustic Pathways with operations in 20 countries globally. Before Rustic Pathways he was CFO & GC of Brightscope, a financial data and technology company (acquired by Strategic Insight in 2016) and was recognized as 2015 CFO of the Year by the San Diego Business Journal. He has equity derivatives, capital markets, and M&A experience from Deutsche Bank and Lazard and is an expert in onshore and offshore entity and tax structuring. Oscar received his JD cum laude from Harvard Law School, is a member of the Massachusetts Bar, and received his BSFS magna cum laude from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service.
