Bio

Pedro Mesquita is an Investment Analyst at Mindset Ventures. He joined the firm in 2018 and has been actively contributing to the firm’s growth. He is currently responsible for supporting deal flow analysis from both U.S. and Israel. Pedro holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from FGV-EAESP (São Paulo, Brazil). While in University, he participated in several student groups and in FHC: Possible Dreams and Transformational Ideas, a program created by Brazil’s former president, Fernando Henrique Cardoso, to leave his legacy to the Brazilian youth and inspire and train young leaders. He has also made an exchange program to Bocconi University, taking courses in the fields of Management, Economics and Business Strategy, and a summer course in Open Innovation at London School of Economics. Before joining Mindset Ventures, Pedro worked at The Economist Intelligence Unit where he was involved in the research for the annual Competitiveness Ranking of the Brazilian States, which seeks to guide the performance of Brazilian public leaders in improving the competitiveness of their states. Aside from Mindset Ventures, Pedro also served as a volunteer at an NGO called Crea +, providing teaching support to public schools in São Paulo. He also took Computer Programming courses and has been applying his new skills to develop internal projects for the firm.
