Ryan co-founded Distributed Global and oversees company and fund operations, and has a seat on the Investment Committee. Formerly, Ryan was Co-Founder, President and COO of BrightScope, a financial data and technology company (acquired by Strategic Insight, November 2016). In 2012 Ryan was named to Forbes’ Top 30 under 30 in Finance and to the Smart Money Power 30. Previously, he was the Co-Founder and Chief Compliance Officer of Alfred Capital Management LLC, an independent registered investment firm located in La Jolla, CA. Ryan received his bachelor's degree in Economics from Harvard University.
