Bio
Stephen joined Doughty Hanson in 2000 and is CEO and Head of Investor Relations. During his ten years at the firm Stephen has been responsible for raising Doughty Hanson Technology Ventures I and II, Doughty Hanson Real Estate II and the two most recent private equity funds, Doughty Hanson & Co IV and V.In addition to his other responsibilities, Stephen sits on the Investment Committee of several of the Doughty Hanson & Co funds. Before he joined Doughty Hanson, Stephen was a Managing Director of Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch where he worked for a total of 22 years. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Northwestern University, an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Juris Doctor from Loyola University (Chicago).
